The Nature Center has a few big projects in mind, and is looking for help Monday-Wed, Jan. 30, 31 & Feb.1, 2012.
The tasks include cleaning out of the old elephant house so that it can be used for hay storage, installing bobcat and cougar climbing structures and finishing the cougar culvert, and renovating the old "recycling station" area to create a new education area.
To volunteer for any of the projects or to find out more, contact Keith Mastin at KMastin@ashevillenc.gov.
