Asheville, NC – Kids Against Hunger (KAH) Committee members Brian Gompers, Sharon Owen, Marie Hall, and Mary Lynn Powell provided a special presentation at Pack’s Tavern on Thursday, January 19, for Leadership Asheville’s “Fellows After 5” event. All four are graduates of Leadership Asheville 27, and they first became involved with KAH through their LA class project.
Attendees at the event were able to learn more about hunger in Western North Carolina and the incredible work that KAH does to feed children for only 25 cents per meal.
