After the announcement that Sierra Nevada Brewing will build its East Coast facility just south of Asheville, BeerNew.org asked Sierra Nevada Brewing Communications Coordinator Bill Manley his reaction to the possibility that New Belgium will also choose Asheville for its East Coast facility.
Manley told BeerNews, "We’ve got a great relationship with New Belgium and we say 'the more the merrier.' Asheville has got such a great craft beer scene. We think it’d be great to have even more great beer in one area."
There's still no word from New Belgium on their final decision as to where it will locate its East Coast facility. The last flurry of rumors that it chosen Asheville was reported by Xpress on Dec. 21.
