Jeff Hunt is the elected District Attorney for Henderson, Polk, and Transylvania Counties. The 61-year old Republican says he is fed up with the deficit spending in Washington. In this short audio interview with Xpress, Hunt discusses that and other reasons why he's running for congress to represent the 11th District of WNC, which includes a section of Buncombe County. He's currently vying with a crowded field of Republican candidates to win the May 8 primary.
