From the press release:

Raleigh, NC – Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (PCANC) announced it has exceeded its $20,000 holiday appeal goal by more than $3,000, and has qualified for a $10,000 match from Applebee’s Grill and Bar of North Carolina. Money raised from the appeal will be used to provide training, coaching, and technical assistance to community organizations working to prevent child abuse and neglect in North Carolina.

“Investing in programs supporting children’s healthy growth and development result in a more successful future for us all,” said Michael Olander, President of Apple Gold Group. “When we make these investments in children and families, the next generation pays it back through a lifetime of productivity and responsible citizenship. Applebee’s Grill and Bar of North Carolina is pleased to be making a difference in communities across our state today and for tomorrow.”

PCANC’s holiday appeal raised a total of $23,605. Eighty-six percent of every dollar raised goes directly to support programs and services.
