Meet Lera Lynn. She's based out of Athens and debuted her brand of alt-country songwriting with last year's Have You Met Lera Lynn? She won a songwriting contest at last year's Merlefest, and another record comes out later this year. Jesse Hamm caught her perform at the Grey Eagle last week:

And of course, there's our regional darling, the haunting Jill Andrews, who headlined the show.
