Buncombe County, through the Environmental Advisory Board, is accepting nominations for the BELA or the Buncombe Environmental Leadership Award.
This award honors men, women, kids or businesses whose actions and leadership have made a positive impact on the environment, as models for environmental awareness, protection and advocacy.
If you know an individual or business that might qualify, please check out the selection criteria below. There is no entry form, simply submit your entry in writing matching the criteria listed.
Deadline to enter is March 1, 2012. Winners will be announced in April.
