How much snow will the Asheville environs get tonight?
UPDATED: Perhaps just a dusting, no accumulation, according to Rays Weather update.
The National Weather Service predicts 2-4 inches in the higher elevations and possibly 1-2 in the valleys (including Asheville). But Western North Carolina's own Rays Weather notes the storm system's movement through Tennessee and says, "How soon the changeover occurs will play a big role in what areas have the best shot at snow accumulations. Right now it looks like most areas will see a half an inch to an inch with a few spots picking up close to 2" before it is all said and done."
