Live music kicks off the weekend with 1980s rockers Buick McKane. A tribute band will take over Beech Tree Lodge on Saturday, and a Rail Jam freestyle competition will feature a DJ spinning retro tunes later in the afternoon.
Of course there will be plenty of skiing. Beech Mountain Resort will offer ski and lodging specials and local businesses will pull out a slew of 80s-themed deals. Even if skiing isn’t your thing, is free to hear some hot music and thrash out some bangin’ bands.
Friday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 26 at Beech Mountain Resort, 1007 Beech Mountain Parkway, and other locations throughout Beech Mountain.
