According to the Hendersonville Times-News, Town officials are considering changing ordinances to allow restaurants, retail amenities and alternative energy sources in light industrial areas after Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. recently announced its plans to locate in Henderson County.
Sierra Nevada will be the first occupant of the 262-acre Ferncliff Industrial Park, which has been designated a North Carolina Certified Site. Once the craft-brewery facility is up and running, it will also have a restaurant and gift shop to accompany its manufacturing side.
