Hendersonville, N.C. (March 14, 2012) – Park Ridge Health is pleased to announce the recent addition of two new providers to the psychiatry team: Yury Mashkovich, D.O., and Beth Short, M.S.N., A.R.N.P., P.M.H.N.P.-B.C. Both providers will be serving patients in several areas of psychiatric care. Dr. Mashkovich will provide care to patients in Park Ridge Health’s H.O.P.E. Psychiatric Program, as well as at Park Ridge Psychiatry, an outpatient treatment center. Short is joining the care teams at both Park Ridge Psychiatry and Park Ridge Geriatrics. Dr. Mashkovich completed his degree in osteopathic medicine at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y., and is board-eligible in psychiatry. He has provided inpatient psychiatric care for three years. Short completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. She also received her ARNP in Psychiatric/Mental Health at the University of South Florida. Short has worked as a nurse for more than 20 years.
