FROM LEADERSHIP ASHEVILLE
Asheville, NC – Leadership Asheville, the region’s foremost community leadership development organization since 1982, is accepting applications for the LA 31 Program through Friday, May 18.
Beginning in September, the 9-month program’s unique format makes the community the classroom, bringing people together from all sectors who are interested in strengthening their knowledge of, commitment to, and involvement in collaborative leadership and community service. Participants develop an in-depth understanding about the place in which they live and acquire the skills and tools necessary to contribute in a variety of leadership roles.
“This program was a great balance of community orientation and leadership development content. The structure fostered a highly supportive, interactive, and inspirational learning environment,” says Maria Roloff (LA 25), retired Vice President of Human Resources at Mission Health System. Adds Jes Williams (LA 25) of Find Great People, Intl., “My Leadership Asheville experience was an eye-opening opportunity to learn more about the wealth of passionate and brilliant people who exist in our own backyard.”
Space in the LA 31 Program is limited to approximately 40 participants. If you or someone in your organization can benefit from joining the network of more than 1,100 graduates who live, work, and volunteer in the community, visit www.leadershipasheville.org or contact Britt Lippard at blippard@leadershipasheville.org or 828.348.0673.
Leadership Asheville is dedicated to enhancing community leadership by developing, connecting, and mobilizing citizens throughout the region.
