Park Ridge Health hosts retirement reception for local EMS figures Thursday

Park Ridge Health invites the community to a retirement reception honoring the dedicated service of Terry Layne and Greg Gore to the Henderson County community through their work with Henderson County EMS. The reception will take place on Thursday, July 28 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the main lobby of Park Ridge Health – 100 Hospital Dr. in Hendersonville. Refreshments will be served.

Mr. Layne has served the Henderson County community for more than 36 years as an EMT, Paramedic, Assistant EMS Director, and most recently as EMS Director. Mr. Gore has served Henderson County for more than 33 years as an EMT, Paramedic and EMS Training officer. Both gentleman are recipients of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award from Governor Beverly Perdue, which is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed on a North Carolina resident.
