Last Thursday night's benefit, dubbed "Dup Fest," was to help local musician Dup Crosson replace some of the musical equipment he lost — totaling around $5,000 — in a recent burglary. The fundraiser, held at the LAB, included performances by local bands Knives & Daggers, WorldLine, Albert Adams and Crosson's band Saint Solitude. The benefit raised around $400 (with more money coming in from a raffle) for Crosson.
Missed the show? Still want to help out? An Indiegogo fundraiser runs online through Tuesday, May 1. The goal is $1,500 but, unlike with Kickstarter campaigns, all funds contributed by that date will go to Crosson whether or not the fundraiser meets its goal.
