Although Indonesia is a world away, its rain forest is worth protecting (as are the 400 Sumatran tigers remaining in that habitat) and you can take action without leaving Asheville. Advocacy group The Environmental Paper Network is "working to leverage the purchasing power of the world’s biggest brands … to buy paper products that are more responsible and sustainable for people and for our planet," thus saving precious rain forest. The I Like It Wild benefit, with performances by Josh Phillips Folk Festival, Asheville Horns and Moses Atwood and his Band raises funds to help. Wednesday, April 18 at the Asheville Music Hall. Doors at 8 p.m., music at 9 p.m. $10 admission, raffle tickets for $5 and $10.

Xpress will give away a pair of tickets to this show on Facebook at 3:15 p.m.
