When I ran into Busk Break alumnus Caster (or Spencer, as I'd first encountered him) over the weekend, he initially seemed surprised that I even remembered him. After a brief conversation, it turns out that he wasn't a fan of the first video I did with him, and didn't think his performance was particularly memorable. To be fair, I was in the middle of my "let's zoom around as much as possible" videography phase, which tended to give the impression of being filmed on rough seas. Caster was quick to point out that he's changed a lot as a performer in the last year, and just wasn't representative of him these days. So, I said there was only one way to fix the situation: Let's do it right this time. Here's Caster singing "a slow, sad song about a horse" near Pritchard Park in downtown Asheville, NC.
