Tonight, April 30th, starts series of public meetings about changes to Asheville Transit

Come to one of the community meetings listed below to learn details about important changes happening on May 21, 2012.

* Frequency of service on major transit corridors increased to twice per hour
* Route changes made to improve on-time performance
* Use Google Transit tool to plan routes
* Day & evening routes consolidated into one schedule

Citizens are invited to join City Staff and Transit Commission members by attending at least one of the following sessions anytime between 4p.m. – 7p.m.

Monday, April 30: US Cellular Center / Banquet Hall, 87 Haywood Street 4 – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 1: West Asheville Community Center 970 Haywood Road 4 – 7 p.m.
Thursday May 3: Reid Memorial Recreational Center 133 Livingston Street 4 – 7 p.m.
Monday, May 7: Shiloh Community Center 121 Shiloh Road 4 – 7 p.m.
Monday, May 14 East Asheville Community Center 906 Tunnel Road 4 – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 15 Grace Episcopal Church / Parish Hall 871 Merrimon Avenue 4 – 7 p.m.
