Here's the press release from Democratic commissioner candidate Keith Young, who's running in District 1, which roughly follows the borders of Asheville:

Asheville, N.C.- Candidate Keith Young plans to ride the bus to victory in the May 8 Democratic primary. Young, who is running in the Democratic primary for Buncombe Co. Commissioner in District 1, has organized “Get on the bus!”

He will use the services of the 360 Party Bus to drive his supporters to the polls during early voting on Tuesday. May 1. The focus is on getting younger voters to the polls and involved in primary elections, however, any of Young’s supporters no matter their age can “Get on the bus!”

Young wants to encourage the use of the early voting system in Buncombe County. The bus will be at two locations, Hillcrest Apartments from 2 pm to 4 pm and Pisgah View Apartments from 4:15 p.m.-6 p.m. on Tuesday. Young says he has not seen any major consolidated efforts recently from any campaign to push their supporters to vote early in an effective way.

The bus will not have a designated area like a bus stop. The campaign has identified supporters in both complexes and volunteers will be going door to door to assist them to the bus. If you see the bus stopped and you want to vote, just get on. The bus will move around the apartment complex picking up voters until it has reached capacity and will then depart to an early voting site. The bus will remain there until all have voted, return to the complex and repeat the cycle.

“I think this is a great opportunity to educate younger voters and get them involved in the political process early on," said Young. "This is a fun but serious effort to getting more people involved and exercise their right to vote.”

The campaign has set a goal to have at least 200 supporters get on the bus and vote on Tuesday during the early voting period. Young is optimistic about the May 8 primary and says he is looking forward to supporting all the Democratic candidates in November.
