Asheville, N.C. – The new Lenoir-Rhyne University Center for Graduate Studies of Asheville is offering a one-time special 10 percent discount for any student taking six or more credit hours during the Fall 2012 term. Classes begin in August. Free information sessions will be held on the following dates for students interested in applying for the 2012-2013 school year: May 22, 5:30 – 7 p.m.; May 24, 12 – 1:30 p.m.; June 7, 12 – 1:30 p.m.; June 12, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
The Center will offer the following degree programs:
- Health Care/Sciences
**Dietetics Internship (focus on obesity in children)
**Master of Public Health
**Master of Science in Nursing
- Business and Government - Master of Business Administration with the following concentration options:
**Business and Sustainability ("green MBA")
**Tourism and Hospitality
**Health Care Administration
**Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization
**Arts Entrepreneurship
- Liberal Arts and Sciences
**Master of Arts in Writing
**Master of Science in Sustainability Studies
- Education and Human Services
**Master of Arts in Counseling
**Master of Arts in Community College Administration
**Master of Arts in Teaching
The information sessions will be held in the second floor boardroom at 36 Montford Ave. in downtown Asheville, home of the Center and the location of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center.
