ASHEVILLE - Asheville city government offices will be closed Wednesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Bus service will be suspended and all Asheville Redefines Transit bus facilities will be closed. July 4th is one of eight days throughout the calendar year that ART does not operate. For a complete list of holiday closures please go to: www.ridetheart.com.
Garbage collection schedules will continue as normal during the holiday. All public safety services, including police, fire and emergency response, will operate according to normal schedule – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
