Full Spectrum Farms encourages adults with autism to learn about gardening and agriculture. It's a "sensory-sensitive, holistic environment" that's centered on organic farming and natural crafting. The program encourages future farmers to grow and sell organic produce as a means to explore the natural world and improve their skills.
So why does the farm need your help? There are simply too many vegetables and not enough hands on this 34-acre property. Join Full Spectrum Farms for a harvest party every Tuesday afternoon starting at 2 p.m.
