Good old Chuck, steppin' and fetchin' for Moffitt at the expense of Buncombe County. What a guy!

There's an NC Policy Watch thread about Moffitt's perceived threat to abolish the City of Asheville.
Rep. McGrady (or at least someone claiming to be him) appeared to want people to think he had nothing to do with the Study Committee that recommended seizing Asheville's water:
"Moffitt and the other members of the legislative committee that studied the issue consistently denied suggestions that privatizing the water system was an option being considered. He’s even said any legislation he introduced would include a prohibition against privatization."

Is this Chuck McGrady or some sockpuppet? Whoever it was didn't respond to challenges on what he said...

There is no sock puppet just me, and I don't understand the basis for your suggesting that I didn't want people to know that I was part of the legislative committee that recommended a regional water authority.
Everyone surely knows I was a member of that legislative committee, and my only reason for referencing only Rep. Moffitt was that he seems to be the focus of most of the criticism. That is understandable because he's the one in the middle of a contested election.
