The time has come to start preparations for the upcoming FIRST FLL robotics competitions and tournament, scheduled for Saturday, November 3 at UNCA.
This competition was last held at UNCA November 19, 2011.
FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL®), created through a partnership between FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO Group, inspires future scientists and engineers.
The Robotics Opportunity Committee of Western North Carolina, (ROC), www.rocwnc.org is responsible for promoting the event, recruiting judges, referees and helpers, providing lunch for the volunteers and setting up and breaking down the event.
The ROC seeks volunteers to assist in any and all of the activities.
