Also, is anyone surprised by this? Insurance companies are not adding value to the health care system - they are systematically leaching people dry while providing the least benefits possible. You want to know why health care is suddenly one-sixth of our GDP?
Insurance companies.
Let's stop horsing around. Let's get started having a serious conversation about either the public option or full nationalization of health care under the direct control of the federal government.

Well, you see, they have to find some way to pay for that bombarment of commercials of theirs where a goat tries to convince us what stand-up guys -- much put-upon saints even -- insurance companies are.
