Akin to the unique the architecture of our city, it’s the trees that have made Asheville such a desirable place to live. And like the architecture, many of these trees are from a special period of time for Asheville and have an intense and meaningful connection to its history.
However unlike their inert stone and steel counterparts, they eventually will go through their lifespan. Many of the trees surrounding us have come to the end of their expected lifespan of around 75-100 years. City living is hard on a tree. Especially in a city that seems to be growing every day.
