A heated argument between the city manager and airport director is threatening to derail negotiations over a new fire station under discussion for more than two years. ...

Airport Director Lew Bleiweis wrote in a memo to the airport board that he ended the mid-July meeting with City Manager Gary Jackson after Jackson became angry and shouted a profanity.

Jackson said Friday he doesn't recall that and called part of Bleiweis' account “a fairy tale.” ...
