Fresh off playing the final installment in RiverMUSIC's 2012 concert series, local prog-funk band The Fritz is set to release a new single. And what a single it must be — they're celebrating with a blowout at Asheville Music Hall on Saturday, Sept. 29. The 10 p.m. show includes sets by jam-funk-rock brother act Cope and Ohio transplant jam outfit Jahman Brahman. Tickets are $6 in advance or $8 day of show. Xpress will give away a pair of tickets to the show on Thursday, via Facebook.
