The proposal, for a non-profit funded by a special tax district, has proven controversial, and after an extended public debate in June, Council chose to delay the matter. Last week, the interim BID board unveiled its new proposal, intended to answer some of the criticisms they'd received. However, representatives of two main groups of BID opponents have said that the changes aren't sufficient, and that they remain opposed to the proposed BID.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m.
