Henderson County to receive $6 million to fix Seven Falls infastructure

Henderson County has reached a $6 million settlement with Lexon Insurance Co. to fix infrastructure in the stalled Seven Falls development, originally marketed as a 1,400-acre golf course community just south of Etowah.

County Attorney Russ Burrell said the settlement, including money received from Kentucky-based Lexon and Synovus Bank, primary lender for the Seven Falls project, will be used to complete roads, water and sewer lines — work that was guaranteed by the developer, Keith Vinson, in a $6 million bond filed with the county in July 2008.
