In late June, about 25 representatives from Asheville-area breweries — including Andy and Kelly Cubbin of Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville — were invited by Sierra Nevada to its prestigious Beer Camp, a three-day, behind-the-scenes look at nearly every facet of the country's second-largest craft-beer company at its home base in Chico, Calif.
