Since 2010, local Led Zeppelin tribute act Custard Pie only makes the rarest of appearances, which makes the group's Halloween installment of self-described “high-gravity rock 'n' roll” not just a show, but an occasion. Custard Pie is Aaron “Woody” Wood on guitar, Rhett McGahee on vocals, Jamie Stirling on drums and David Connor Jones on bass. The Facebook invite states, "We are working up some tricks and treats for you this All Hallows Eve." Among those treats is an opening set of Black Sabbath covers. Wednesday, Oct. 31 at Asheville Music Hall. 9 p.m. $10 in advance or $12 day of show. http://ashevillemusichall.com.
