An update on the new Klondyke community playground, from Charlotte Street Computers:
Charlotte Street Computers is pleased to invite the community to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Klondyke Playground, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. at the Klondyke Community Center.
“Jennifer has done some wonderful things with these children over the years; she puts everything aside to help them and has poured her heart out. I am so proud of her for helping the kids in this community stay out of the streets,” says Montford resident Harriet Tobe.
CEO Jennifer Mayer’s initiative to bring a playground to the more than 200 children that live in the Klondyke Homes Community was made possible through partnerships with Asheville Design Center, Green Opportunities, the Housing Authority of the City of Asheville and Asheville GreenWorks.
