A group of local cheese makers has been working for almost a year to connect as the WNC Cheese Trail. They recently released the first version of an online map to encourage tourists and local cheese enthusiasts to visit their facilities and dairies. The map shows all nine member cheese makers as well as one "affinity member," Hickory Nut Gap Farm. To see the map, visit the Cheese Trail online at wncheesetrail.com.
