Both Jessica Lea Mayfield and David Mayfield are frequent visitors to Asheville. Both have played Bele Chere (she in '11, he this past summer). Both have connections to the Black Keys. And they've even toured together — David played bass in Jessica's band (he's a good big brother; it was in his bedroom that she recorded her debut EP). But now they're actually sharing a bill. The two very different musical acts (she's Americana-noir; he's super-energetic roots-rock) are calling it The Sibling Rivalry Tour.
