Local author William Forstchen will debate local radio host Ned Ryan Doyle in an event moderated by former WLOS reporter Charu Kumarhia Thursday night at Biltmore's Doubletree Hilton. Organized by the radio talk show Take a Stand, the debate promises to be a lively challenge on the topic of concealed carry of firearms by teachers in public schools.

The following is a release from the Take a Stand website:
Emmy award winner, journalist, and long time news anchor for News 13 WLOS, Charu Kumarhia will be moderating a debate between Ned Ryan Doyle and Dr. William Forstchen on the topic of conceal carry for teachers in schools. There will be a reception with light food and drinks from 6-6:30 PM, and audience questions will be from 7:30-8 PM.
When: Thursday Jan. 17th, 6-8 PM
Where: Doubletree Hilton at Biltmore
Cost: $5 per ticket (Limit 4 per transaction) pick up at will-call

There will be a list at check in of the names the tickets were purchased under. Check in at will call when you arrive
