From an Aug. 10 announcement:
Three TEDx events were recently announced for the 2011 season, with TEDxAsheville 2011 happening in fall rather than summer, on Nov. 13, at the Diana Wortham Theatre.

TEDxAsheville 2011 and a new science event, TEDxKatuah, are both modeled on the global TED conference devoted to showcasing great ideas, performances and technology. Both seek thinkers, dreamers, scientists, entrepreneurs and activists of all ages to support this local platform for sharing great ideas, join the organizing team and share their own great ideas and nominations for 2011. And new to this season are weekly TEDxAsheville Salon events, most Thursdays at Posana in downtown Asheville.

The 2011 season of events:

TEDxKatuah, a new all-ages event celebrating the wonder of science
November 5, 2011
Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute, Rosman, NC
TEDxKatuah’s goal is to bring people together at the intersection of science, art and other disciplines to play with the questions, "What is science?" and “What is your story of discovery?” In an attempt to expand perceptions and dissolve barriers, TEDxKatuah is an opportunity for people to interact with and experience science in more intuitive and playful ways. Speakers and attendees will exchange ideas, visions and passions that can be carried back into communities to spark positive change.
