Push/Pull is the electronic project of Liam Collins. He's been working on music since '06 and started this current project in 2011. Already, he's shared the stage with artists like Ott, Kilowatts, Bird of Prey, Benga, Excision, Lotus, Nasty Nasty, Ana Sia and Break Science.
Empire Strikes Brass is a New Orleans style brass band that, according to their bio, "is determined to bring funk, rock, and a lot of energy to city streets and beyond." They've played LAAFF and opened for Galactic at The Orange Peel.
Intermixture ("mind-warping sets of rhythmic progressions influenced by trip-hop, dubstep, and psychedelic forms of electronica") and swing band Big Ben and the Clocktowers also perform.
Saturday, Feb. 9. 9 p.m. $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Xpress will give away a pair of tickets on Friday, in the noon hour, via Facebook.
