According to reports coming from WLOS, President Barack Obama will be coming to Asheville, N.C. next week on Wednesday, Feb. 13 — one day after he is set to deliver the State of the Union Address. The confirmation came to WLOS reporter Russ Bowen (see Storify post below) after getting official word from the state North Carolina Democratic Party.
At this time, WLOS reports that no information on a time or location for his address in Asheville has been decided.
The last time Obama visited Asheville was two years ago for a ticketed speech, where he addressed members of the public at Asheville Airport.

Does anyone know of any protests being organized, specifically regarding the administration's blatent and unapologetic drone strikes and targeting killings?

oh, goody; one more day of playing the role of POTUS instead of doing the job of POTUS. Maybe Obama will tell us why it's okay when he has the power to assassinate people but it's not okay when for others to have it.
