After 10 years, the jazz-prog-trance-R&B band known affectionately as PGroove is about to be a bit less perpetual. The quartet (Brock Butler on guitar and vocals, bassist Adam Perry, Matthew McDonald on keys and vocals and drummer Albert Suttle) from Athens, Ga., recently announced an extended hiatus, which makes their Saturday, Feb. 23 show at Asheville Music Hall one of the group's last. At least for a while. So revel in PGroove’s originals from their four albums, and their trademark covers ("everything from Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' to Rage Against The Machine's 'Bulls On Parade'"). 10 p.m. $12/$15.
