Here's an excerpt from the Asheville Citizen-Times article:

Work on a $50 million allied health and workforce development building at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College will get under way this summer, the first major undertaking in a planned construction boom at the school.

Crews also will start work this summer on a $7 million classroom building at the Buncombe County Public Safety Training Facility in Woodfin.

The two construction projects will be the most visible return county taxpayers will get from their approval of a quarter-cent increase in the county sales tax in a November 2011 referendum.

They will also provide a boost for the construction industry, still reeling from a dramatic drop in business that was part of the Great Recession.
