(Hendersonville, N.C.) Lead by Kiwanis District Lieutenant Governor Tom Walker, the Kiwanis Club of Hendersonville inducted new leaders to head the organization for 2013-2014. Outgoing President Stephanie Bagby handed the gavel at a ceremony on October 3rd to incoming President Robert Murray, President-Elect Darla Lindeman, and Vice-President Anderson Ellis.
Mr. Murray, a retired former President and CEO of Mission Road Ministries in San Antonio, Texas, was excited to accept the position. “I’ve been a Kiwanian for 41 years, and I’m ready to lead the club in service and fundraising to expand its services to local children and children agencies. A major focus for the next year is the ‘Eliminate’ Project, a worldwide endeavor to eradicate maternal/neonatal Tetanus.” President-Elect Lindeman is the Human Resources Director at Western Carolina Community Action, and Vice-President Ellis is an attorney with Prince, Youngblood & Massagee, PLLC.
