He slapped, she slapped: Two found guilty in Cracker Barrel assault case

"A 54-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman were each found guilty Wednesday of assaulting one another in a March dispute over a parking space at the Cracker Barrel on Upward Road," BlueRidgeNow.com reports (Hendersonville Times-News.

Henderson County District Court Judge David Fox told Shelby Walker, 73, of Travelers Rest, S.C., and Don Fairbanks, 54, of Hendersonville they acted inappropriately the morning of March 19, when Walker slapped Fairbanks in the face and Fairbanks retaliated by striking Walker, knocking her to the ground.

Each was found guilty of simple assault.
