“After six fantastic years of unparalleled success in the local fashion industry, and 14 as a business journey, Royal Peasantry design house has decided to celebrate the richness of our city's culture and to share a glimpse of things to come,” says local photographer Micah Mackenzie.
Royal Peasantry, which creates fashion by up-cycling clothes and accessories, will present photography by Mackenzie, followed by an awards dinner. The film Tramps En Vogue will be premiered as well, which features “never-before-seen footage of never-before-seen style,” according to Mackenzie. Tramps En Vogue was filmed in Asheville and features local models “drawing upon our city's monumental wealth of beauty and talent.”
The lights will dim, the music will turn up and the event will conclude with an evening of dancing in the Music Hall.
