Women of all ages are invited to attend The Western North Carolina Jewish Federation’s
4th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon on September 22, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. .
A special presentation of “Stories of Real Jewish Lives: How You’ve Made a Difference in Western North Carolina” emphasizes the growing needs of Jewish Family Services in the Asheville and Western NC area. The luncheon also serves as the launch to the 2012 Jewish Federation Women’s Campaign, highlighting the selected 2011 projects of the division.
“The luncheon provides the opportunity for grandmothers, mothers, children and grandchildren to bond together and pass on to the next generation, the gift of giving,” notes Karen Hyman, Chair of the Western North Carolina Jewish Federation
Committee members of the Women Who Care Luncheon are:
Judy Duncan, Alison Gilreath, Myra Hinton, Karen Hyman, Dr. Resa Johnson, Janet Oppenheimer, JoAnne Rosenblum and Karen Shuffler
The mission of the WNC Jewish Federation is to harness the collective resources of the WNC Jewish community and direct them to the Jewish needs in the local community, in Israel and abroad
