Tags:Wild Birds Unlimited Nature Shop holds a grand opening in South Asheville on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. The new store is located at 10 Crispin Court, Suite D-102, in Gerber Village. The opening event includes family friendly nature talks, prize drawings, refreshments, give-a-ways and product demonstrations. According to a press release, "It will provide support to local nonprofits and rehabilitators doing great work in the areas of wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education like the Western North Carolina Nature Center and The North Carolina Arboretum."

Join educator Cat Dillard from The North Carolina Arboretum in a hands-on exploration of birds as well as other wildlife of our area.
