Although N.C. Department of Health and Human Services found there is no need for another endoscopy suite in the Fletcher area, Mission Hospital officials are prepared to move ahead with the joint venture between the Asheville-based hospital and Pardee Hospital.
The state’s review of Mission’s application to relocate an existing endoscopy suite to the Mission-Pardee joint venture says Mission “overstates the need of the service” at the proposed facility on the Buncombe and Henderson County line.
