Raleigh, NC - The North Carolina Supreme Court is preparing to hear the cases of three death-row inmates who had their sentences converted to life in prison without possibility of parole, under the Racial Justice Act.
Six retired judges - including two retired chief justices of the State Supreme Court - filed a brief on Monday urging the Supreme Court to confirm the initial rulings.
