After the corn dogs, the funk bands and the Moon Bounce, maybe you want to infuse your weekend with a little culture. Head over to Arts Park, where a carefully selected clutch of craftspeople from around the country display their wares and demonstrate their arts in an isolated showplace.
Here's a tip: Arts Park is a great place to pick up unusual gifts (jewelry or handmade greeting cards if you want to just throw something in your back pack; wood carvings or a ceramic vase if you're in the market for something substantial). And while the odd knickknack or souvenir is always nice, getting your Christmas shopping done in July is more fun than sipping a super-sized Pina Colada.
