DJ Thump, aka James Tsakonas, was easier to reach. A dubstep DJ, he shared a memory of one of his favorite recent gigs: “Hands down, my birthday celebration at Club 828 in late May was by far the best time I have had DJing, period. Not only did we have one of my favorite producers, Datsik, on the show, but we also had a DJ battle that featured my favorite local cats. The place was crazy packed and I don't think anyone could deny the energy and love in the air that night, the fans and friends I made that night were simply amazing.” Yeah.
