Tolerance, understanding and acceptance are key in every community, and Gay Straight Alliances strive to bring information to the public about the LGBT community in order to create safe schools for everyone. 

Asheville High’s GSA is gathering tonight at Pack Place for the opening night of the World Aids Day Quilt Project. A small group of students have been the core since the beginnings last year, but the organization is growing quickly says Ms. Knight, one GSA advisers.
